2. “Second Hand News”
At just under 3 minutes, “Second Hand News” is the Fleetwood Mac version of a punk song: short, bittersweet and to the point. John McVie, usually quiet in the background, sounds positively vibrant here as does Lindsey’s guitar scratching and Mick’s bang-on-can rhythm track. The harmonies are among the band’s best, especially’s Stevie’s perfect accompaniment to Lindsey’s lead tucked beautifully into the right channel.
