#3. “Doin’ It All for My Baby”
Huey and his boys were masters at borrowing from others and making it their own (as their recent covers album attests). “Doin’ It All for My Baby” was a simple Memphis love song perfectly executed: a great groove, a sparkling horn section, a nice guitar solo and plenty of doo-wop. And it didn’t hurt that they had a sense of humor about themselves.
